About Me
I am a visiting student at the Stroke Research Group at the Department of Clinical Neurosciences. My research mainly focuses on the association between imaging markers and dementia (especially cerebral small vessel disease-related dementia, but also AD dementia and mixed dementia).
Currently, my research interests focus on the relationship between glymphatic function and cerebral small vessel disease-related dementia. I am going to use in-vivo imaging markers to evaluate glymphatic integrity in cerebral small vessel disease patients, track its longitudinal changes, and analyze its causality in cerebral small vessel disease-related dementia. Also I am interested in the associations between glymphatic function, inflammation and cerebral small vessel disease. I hope to deepen our understanding of how CSVD causes dementia and how CSVD appears, therefore providing more ideas for clinical treatment.
