I am a PhD student at the Stroke Research Group at the Department of Clinical Neurosciences, supervised by Professor Hugh Markus. Before I joined the group in October 2021, I graduated from my Master of Engineering also at the University of Cambridge, with a specialization in information engineering and bioengineering. I have had a particular interest in machine learning and have utilized deep learning in the analysis of microscopic images and proteomics data.
In my PhD project, I am applying machine learning techniques to diagnose and predict disease progression in vascular cognitive impairment, as a result of cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD). I work with both MRI and neuropsychological test data from the UK Biobank and various patient cohorts.
